Which Blog format do you prefer?

I have been using my wordpress blog for the majority of my blogging but I am considering changing because wordpress does not allow for advertisements, google firend connect, and some other money making opportunities.  Just wondering if anyone has an opinion about what format they prefer.  Comments welcome!
